Cooling body contouring (CoolTech)

Non-surgical CoolTech sessions that target localised fat in selected areas by cooling, after a doctor’s assessment. Not a substitute for weight loss.

Who it's for

Suitability is confirmed after a consultation and assessment by the treating clinician; results vary from person to person. Sessions suit localised fat and are not a treatment for obesity.

What to expect

  1. Consultation and assessment of the area
  2. Area chosen and applicator fitted
  3. The cooling session
  4. Post-session guidance and follow-up

Sessions and aftercare

Massaging the area may be advised as the specialist instructs; usual activities can normally resume.

Possible risks and side effects

Common temporary effects: redness, numbness, bruising and mild pain in the area. Rare: an increase rather than decrease in fat in the treated area, and skin irritation. The doctor explains the risks before starting.

Why follow-up matters

Keeping follow-up appointments and aftercare instructions matters; missing them can delay noticing a side effect or affect the result.
